Mica Heliskiing Guides - British Columbia Canada
Listed in: Helicopter Skiing
Mica Heliskiing‘ terrain covers 4,700 square kilometres (more than 1,800 square miles) on the western slope of the Rocky Mountains in British Columbia, Canada. This spectacular terrain lies near the northern end of the Rocky Mountain Trench, running alongside Jasper National Park and the Columbia Ice Fields to the east, and lying opposite the Monashee and Selkirk mountain ranges to the west, across the massive Kinbasket Reservoir.
Mica Heli Guides offers an incredible variety of terrain, from the level of beginning powder skiers to slopes that will excite the true expert. There is plenty for everyone! We operate in seven drainages or valleys, each with its own character and terrain style, each contributing to a diverse skiing or boarding experience. Our tenure contains 470,000 hectares (more than 1 million acres) of spectacular peaks, huge alpine cirques and bowls, massive glaciated runs, with 50 percent of our terrain being steep tree runs.
Mica Heliskiing has the goods - any terrain you desire and as much of it as you wish. Combine the greatest terrain on Earth with 12-18 metres per year (40-60 feet) of dry, light, Rocky Mountains powder and the result is absolutely the best skiing and boarding on the planet.
